RE: sgmltools Questions
OK; just for completeness, here are some of the more obvious bits I
missed out from my recent post on Debian SGMLstuff:
***************************************************************************
* sp - James Clark's SGML parsing tools
-
This package is a collection of SGML/XML tools called SP.
-
These tools are used to parse, validate, and normalize SGML and XML
files. The central programs included in this package are 'nsgmls'
(which replaces sgmls); 'spam'; 'spent'; 'sgmlnorm'; and 'sgml2xml'.

***************************************************************************
* jade - James Clark's DSSSL Engine
-
Jade is an implementation of the DSSSL style language.
-
The jade engine is a useful tool (in conjunction with a DSSSL style
sheet) for translating SGML documents into other formats. Jade can
currently generate SGML, RTF, and TeX. In conjunction with the
"jadetex" TeX style, it can generate quite nice output.

***************************************************************************
* jadetex - LaTeX macros for SGML to DVI/PS/PDF conversion with Jade
-
jadetex provides a set of LaTeX macros to process the TeX files
generated by jade. Using jade and jadetex you can print any SGML
document for which you have, or make, a DSSSL description.
***************************************************************************
* docbook2x-doc - HTML docmentation of the docbook2x packages
-
This package contains the documentation in HTML format of the packages
docbk-xml2x, docbook2man and docbook2texi.
