yes. the packages made will use /opt to avoid any conflict with
prepackaged documentation.
As Garry reported, each distro wants to build its own package in its own
way : they will be responsible of "loading" /usr/share/doc/HOWTO with
the HOWTOs, /usr/share/doc/FAQ with the FAQs, etc.
Users downloading doc form linuxdoc.org will have it installed under
/opt/ldp/HOWTO, /opt/ldp/FAQ, etc.
