Subject: New Book, Solving Problems in Multiply Connected Domains
Solving Problems in Multiply Connected Domains By Darren Crowdy
CBMS-NSF Regional Conference Series in Applied Mathematics 97
This one-of-a-kind book describes a novel mathematical framework for
solving problems in two-dimensional, multiply connected regions. The
framework is built on a central theoretical concept: the prime
function, whose significance for the applied sciences, especially for
solving problems in multiply connected domains, has been missed until
recent work by the author. It is the first monograph to focus on
solving applied problems in multiply connected domains.

Subject: POSTPONED, Sparse Days at CERFACS, France, Jun 2020
Sadly, because of the COVID-19 situation, we are having to postpone
the Annual Sparse Days at Cerfacs meeting scheduled for 11-12 June.
The postponement is indefinite and we will re-assess in the summer
whether it might be possible to hold it this year.

distinguished scientists as well as contributed talks. This is the
Fourth Conference of the series MPF - Modelling the Physiological
Flows and is organized by MOX - Politecnico di Milano, with the
support of the EU ERC-ADG - Advanced Grant iHEART - Project ID: 740132
Confirmed plenary speakers:
Olaf Dossel (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology)
Francesco Migliavacca (Politecnico di Milano)
